Music Appreciation – Indigenous Music - Kuranda Warrior
It sounds like bongo drums banging. It sounds very low. It is like they are singing in the jungle. The animals I see in my head are snakes, kangaroos and frogs.

There’s a good beat and it is very catchy. It repeats over and over again. I kind of don’t like it.

I think this song is about frogs. The instruments I can hear are bongo drums and a didgeridoo.

Words that describe the song are heavy and angry. This song makes me think of kangaroos.

I think that this song is about kangaroos. When they hear something they look around to see if it is dangerous or not. They eat and use their ears to listen for danger.

I can hear the beating of the drums. I can really hear the didgeridoo beat. I hear that it is deep and it goes up and down. It repeats and repeats!

I see in my head people walking for a special occasion.

This song makes me feel like moving. It makes me feel like moving slowly to the rhythm. I like how it is calm, high and low and deep. I really like the didgeridoo – it is cool. It has a bit of bongo beat too.

The didgeridoo is very groovy!

I think this song is about a tribe on a walk-a-bout. The instruments I can hear are the didgeridoo, bass drum and bongo. The words that describe this song are deep, thumping and low pitched.

The song makes me think of Kangaroos. The speed of this song is slow and deep.

I don’t like this music because it is too deep and it goes on for a long time.

I think this song is when people are on a boat and are near some rocks. It is rough and they can’t turn around. It gets calm and they turn around.

The song is lovely and fast and wavy. The harmonies are fabulous! The song goes fast then slow and it is up and down. The voices are a choir and go really well together which makes it great.
